Global Consumer Design Asia Studios were established in 2005 to address the specific needs of the Asian consumer through the home appliances manufactured by Whirlpool Corporation in the region. GCD has developed and refined a highly consumer centric approach to design, fully aligned with local marketing strategies and backed by a well established robust product development process. The project teams are lead by design veterans and supported by experts in horizontal processes such as Usability, Product Platforms, CFM (Color, Finish, Materials), 3D Simulation and Graphics.
