“The Daily Beast will evolve before your eyes,” promised Tina Brown last fall. “We began building our site in mid-July [2008] and wanted to put it up ASAP in beta so that its further development could be driven by the interplay between our sensibility and our users’ responses.” Here’s your chance to be a part of the evolution and interplay! Brown’s Barry Diller-backed venture is seeking a photo editor to join its L.A. office. In addition to developing visual elements of the site, the position involves collaborating with reporters and editors and thinking outside of the Beast by “finding creative new ways to source photos for stories.” When in doubt, ask yourself: What would Scoop‘s William Boot do?
