UCLA is seeking a talented Senior Digital Designer to create complex, visually beautiful interactive experiences for web, mobile interfaces and email communications. This role is a combination of hands-on design as well as team leadership, and you should understand how digital and print media (online vs. offline) interact and translate with a focus on user-centered design and usability testing. This person will contribute to different projects in teams, with external agencies and independently working closely with developers, writers and print designers to help define the visual aesthetic for UCLA digital touch points. The designer will need to educate staff and be a leading advocate for industry best practices through the UX process including project planning, discovery, user research and analysis, requirements definition, conceptual design, content strategy, interaction planning, and interaction and measurement tracking specifications.
