Through a glass brightly…

Image maker Luke Insect has created a series of psychedelic installation pieces using large Victorian window frames sourced from reclamation yards in East Sussex. The artworks are currently showing at London’s Idea Generation Gallery in Shoreditch as part of the ON: Acid House Art & 20th Century Psychedelia show…

The imagery, Luke Insect tells us, is screenprinted directly onto powder-coated glass panels and then freshly framed in the window frame panels…

The pieces hang among a selection of new and back catalogue works by Luke and also fellow exhibitors Leo Zero and Dave Little who have all been actively involved in creating imagery and graphics for clubnights and record labels for several years. The exhibition runs until Saturday May 14 and will be open late (until 9pm) this Thursday evening, May 5. More info at gallery.ideageneration.co.uk.
