The Square Root of Beautiful
Posted in: deskThis striking desk design is the latest addition to the Incunabular range of handmade contemporary furniture by UK-based design studio, invisiblecity. The design takes its dimensions and ratios from the international paper standard ISO 216, Series A. The geometric rationale behind the entire series is the square root of 2, which maintains the aspect ratio of each subsequent module. Not a math whiz? No worries- all you really need to know is that a lot of thought went into this gorgeous piece!
