One Night Only: Sketch Noteworthy Inventions for Quirky
Posted in: UncategorizedIs your draftsmanship Sketchnote-worthy? Our favorite “social product development platform” Quirky is seeking for illustrators who can bring aspiring inventors’ creations to life for a one-off gig tomorrow night. The New-York based company provides the Internet Age solution to fast-tracking innovation, and they’re looking for a few skilled hands to help them help would-be inventors.

Wanna make a little cash and be part of history?!
Quirky needs three illustrators/sketchers who are tech-savvy and excited about ideas and invention for a high-profile ONE NIGHT event THIS WEDNESDAY 24th AUGUST. The gig involves two things: 1 hour interview/training on Tuesday or Wednesday learning how people submit ideas to our website and see if you’re a good fit. Then, on Wednesday night at the World Premiere of Quirky’s Sundance Channel show, you’ll be helping people submit ideas to our site: sketching/illustrating their solution, helping them upload and making sure they communicate the problem, solution and any key features.
Aside from the sheer excitement of being involved in the event, enjoying an open bar (if you’re over 21) and being part of history, we’ll also stuff you $80 for your time. Can’t argue with that, can ya! Oh yeah, the training/event is in Manhattan, so take this into consideration before applying…
So what are you waiting for? Send your sketch samples to illustrator[at]quirkyinc.com today!
