Specialized announced their new S-Works Venge, the new model is lighter and faster than ever. It costs $12,500, so the new Specialized Venge had better be fast. Against the old Venge Vias, the frame moved down fro 1200g to 960, 240g in the process with the front fork also lobbing 25g off its weight as it measured in at 385g. All these savings saw the frame, fork, seat post, stem and other bits and bobs downsize from 2,576g to a neat claimed weight of 2,116g, that’s a saving of 460g which is quite considerable if true.
