Record-breaking roof?

I thought I’d seen it all with the recycled beer can roof, but Nashville musician Matt Glassmeyer may have one-upped that with his recycled vinyl record roof.

Glassmeyer painstakingly drove a nail and washer through the eyehole of 350 unplayable vinyl records to shingle his porch. Surprisingly, after two years in the Nashville heat, they haven’t warped! Here’s to hoping none of Nashville’s music legends drop by Glassmeyer’s house and find their labor of love now used to block rain. “Nice roof…Hey! Is that my Greatest Hits album, you lousy sumbitch?”
