The Lead User Experience Architect at NPR is responsible for identifying and articulating the needs, goals, and requirements that guide NPR Digital Media projects and translating these into workflow and interaction models that form the basis of the overall user experience. He or she will oversee conceptual design, information architecture, interaction design, user-centered design and usability engineering practices across multiple projects, including external web sites, mobile sites, mobile applications, internal editorial products and other special projects.

The Lead User Experience Architect articulates and executes best practices and standards for UX within project teams, to product management, to stakeholders, and to the NPR Community. In addition, the Lead User Experience Architect will manage all User Experience Architects, and ensure the consistency and quality of all deliverables from the group. He/she will work with other team leads to provide a cohesive user experience throughout all Digital Media platforms.
