We’ve seen a lot of shipping container architecture over the years and its no surprise that the concept is finally finding a home in Brooklyn. The Dekalb Market will be housed in a collection of salvaged shipping containers and include food vendors, work-sell spaces, an incubator farm and a performance venue.

Here’s your chance to design and work rent-free in your own little slice of Brooklyn real estate. Dekalb Market announced their Not Just A Container Design Competition and the winner will not only get a budget to build their design, but will also be awarded a contract at the Dekalb Market to work 6-months, rent-free! Deadline is April 9th so get more details about the competition after the jump.
