Nice Work: scary bikers and infantile men
Posted in: UncategorizedThis week’s round-up of the pick of the world’s latest advertising work to cross the CR threshold includes a charming animation for Radio France, some scary bikers in a cinema and Ikea’s creche for men
Mr Hyde director Mr Tix created this spot for Radio France outlinign its various offerings. Agency: Royalties.
From Forsman & Bodenfors in Sweden comes this effort for Ikea featuring a man with far too many appliances
Art Director: Silla Levin
Copywriter: Marcus Hägglöf, Rickard Hallberg
Production Company: Folke Film
Director: Tomas Mankovsky
Also from Ikea but this time in Australia comes Manland, a place for shoppers to park their grumbling (infantile?) other half while they browse Ikea in peace. Apologies if we’re a little late on this one (it was a temporary installation for Australian fathers’ day earlier this month) but we thought you’d like to see it anyway)
From Belgium, we have a stunt for Carlsberg in which a cinema was filled with scary bikers – except for just two empty seats. Would any couple be brave enought to take them up?
Agency: Duval Guillaume Modem
Creative directors: Geoffrey Hantson and Katrien Bottez
Creatives: Koenraad Lefever and Dries De Wilde.
Director: Cecilia Verheyden.
And BBH go headlong down the heritage route for British Airways in this nonetheless technically impressive production. (Former Marketing Week editor Stuart Smith has a sharp analysis of it here “If you’re going to do a nostalgic commercial, make sure it’s glamorous rather than merely portentous”)
Creative Director: Nick Gill
Creatives: Justin Moore and Hamish Pinnell
Director: Frederic Planchon
