More Advice to Sink in Slowly from Gray318 and CR

Advice to Sink in Slowly has been dispensing advice to students for several years through the medium of the poster. CR has sponsored one of its new fundraising editions, by Gray318, which will help the initiative to continue sending out posters to first year students in the UK for free…

The ATSIS project has been a feature of our own Graduate Guide for several years and was originally set up by John Stanbury in 2006 as a way of offering a free, well designed poster to give to new students starting courses in the UK. Students can request a free advice poster by going here (the full range is here).

The latest ATSIS A2 litho poster, Chase Your Own Tale, has been designed by John Gray of Gray318. It is printed on recycled 170gsm stock and currently available from the ATSIS site for £10, here. The more posters that ATSIS is able to sell, the more free editions it can then send out to students for no charge.

As Stanbury says, the ATSIS ethos is that “everyone has a piece of advice to give, but they often don’t have the opportunity to pass it on to where it can make a difference. By giving advice in a creative way, it is possible to make something with the potential to last, so the advice has the chance to sink in slowly and be there to help later on.”

We really liked the sentiment behind Gray’s phrase concerning following your own path and our sponsored poster is one of four that have been produced so far by Always With Honour (with Tiny Showcase), and Andy J Miller and Lizzie Stewart (with Howies) and are now available from the ATSIS site.

Check out the full range of posters that are currently available to students, here (12 are shown, below).
