Mo props to all mo-ustache growing Movember fund raisers

Don’t think for a mo-ment that the prostate cancer awareness campaign, Movember, has passed by unnoticed here at CR towers. On the contrary, our art director, Paul Pensom is nurturing a fine looking moustache to raise money for the cause – so fine, in fact, it won a prize in The Telegraph’s Early Growth competition

Above, CR’s Paul Pensom’s moustache, day 18

Also raising money for the cause are these posters (above and below), created collaboratively by image maker Shotopop and copywriter Pieter Rossouw. According to the above poster, Paul’s moustche is shaping up to be a classic Hunts Man.

In case you can’t read the copy at the top of the posters, it reads thus:

In the beginning God created Adam. And from Adam’s top lip He let sprout a Mo. At that moment, God created man. Henceforth the mighty symbol of virility and strength carried man to his destiny. Neither grand king nor fearless warrior would dare set foot on battlefield without his burly banner of top lip bristle. Yes it is even said that without his Mo, Alexander the Great, was simply called Al. And that the only reason Genghis Khan was made ruler of the entire Mongol Empire, was because he could sprout a Mo at will. So man of today, be you not afraid of ridicule, make you not your naked face the norm. Grow your Mo proud and grow it long. Because, it is your destiny!

The A3 prints will be sold up to November 30 via centralillustration.com at £20 a pop, with all proceeds going to to Movember.
