Mark Denton’s Typo Circle student talk
Posted in: UncategorizedCOY! Communications director Mark Denton is giving a talk on November 12 as part of the Typographic Circle’s student programme.
The programme was set up by BETC London’s head of design Louise Sloper to help ‘inform and inspire the next generation of creatives’. The talks are designed to be smaller and more intimate than regular Typographic Circle events, allowing students to ask questions and interact with speakers.
A Ravensbourne graduate, Denton has worked in advertising for over thirty years. He also launched his own design agency, Mark Denton Design and a bi-annual magazine Styling Lard, and was president of the Advertising Creative Circle between 2006 and 2009. He has asked students attending the event to design posters to be judged on the night.
Tickets are £8 and are for Typographic Circle student members only, available here. For membership details, click here.
