March Lite chair by Sir Kenneth Grange and SmithMatthias for Modus

VDF products fair: designers Kenneth Grange and SmithMatthias have designed the March Lite chair for British furniture brand Modus.

Created by British designer Sir Kenneth Grange and London studio SmithMatthias, the March Lite chair is an extension of their original wooden stacking March chair for the brand.

The new chair has a more stripped-back design than its predecessor, using fewer materials and boasting a more elegant aesthetic as a result.

“The March Lite chair is an extension to the original wooden stacking March chair by the design duo Sir Kenneth Grange and SmithMatthias,” said Modus. “Its simple paired back design makes it more efficient in terms of production – using fewer materials and a more elegant aesthetic.

March Lite is finished in a water-based lacquer and is available in natural and stained ash.
