Magnetic Polish
Posted in: nailpolish New magnetic polish creates unique nails in seconds
London-based Nails inc. has just released a new line of polish products that take advantage of classic technology by introducing a new tool into a manicurist’s arsenal—a magnet. Their Magnetic Attraction series comes in three color options, each named for a London landmark and containing iron powder. Once applied, passing the magnetized cap over this mixture (a small lip keeps it in place without touching the wet polish) produces stunning 3D effects instantly on nails. For consistency, Nails, Inc. used a patterned magnet (hidden from view), which creates the shiny, zebra-like waves as it shifts the metallic particles.
The polish is available as a set of three for £13 a piece from Nails, Inc. or from Amazon for $16 each. Go to Sephora to cop the whole set for $30 beginning October 2011.
