Incase’s Variety of Design Solutions for Phone Protection. But What’s What?

SYSTM is the name of Incase’s new brand dedicated to making protective iPhone cases. They’ve started off with five different designs combining polycarbonate, rubber and/or foam, and while all of them look neat, I do wish they’d done a better job helping the viewer understand what differentiates one design from another, functionally speaking.

If the difference between each model is just aesthetics, it’d be easy for buyers to subjectively pick what they like; but the descriptions of each of the five designs are sprinkled with enough technical jargon—”Internal Poron XRD extreme impact protection back” vs. “Raised impact points” vs. “Air rail technology”—to imply there are defined performance differences distinguishing one materials choice from the other, and those are never really made clear.
