In the Picture: Eero Saarinen’s Tulip chair

In the Picture: Tulip chair, designed by Finnish American architect, Eero Saarinen in 1955 and 1956 for the Knoll company of New York City. It was designed primarily as a chair to match the complementary dining table.

I love the smooth organic lines, they make me think of a flower. My favorite would be the one with the green seating and preferably a vintage one… not easy to find nowadays but I will keep on looking.
