Good Industrial Design Student Work: Three Space-Efficient Projects

Here are three projects done by Kaelan Abernathy as an Industrial Design student at Iowa State University. The first is for a set of measuring cups/spoons that take up less space:

The second is for a spice rack that takes advantage of the dead space you’ll typically find in one cabinet or another:

The third I wanted to see a bit more on, particularly what the transparent portions are made of. These are Abernathey’s design for a stackable bulk goods shopping container for supermarkets:

Note that the “BeraTek Industries” you see stamped on two of the projects, is the name of the product design consultancy that Abernathey was targeting for a job, back when he was still a student. (Post-graduation, he got the job!)
