Giant Chocolate Geodes With Edible Sugar Crystals Inside When Broken Open

This is a video of the chocolate geodes created by Culinary Institute of America student Alex Yeattes and his partner Abby Wilcox.  They made these gorgeous chocolate geodes that when broken open revealed a treasure of brightly hued semi-precious crystals, such as amethyst and carnelian, made out of rock candy.
