Draft sofa by PearsonLloyd for Modus

VDF products fair: PearsonLloyd took cues from the pared-back aesthetic of mid-century design to create the Draft sofa for British furniture brand Modus.

Available as a two-seater and a three-seater sofa, as well as an armchair, Draft combines a one-piece seat with separate back cushions, slim armrests and powder-coated steel legs.

The top edge of the seat cushions features blanket stitching that can either match or contrast with the upholstery material.

“With a nod to mid-century modern design, PearsonLloyd’s new sofa is defined by smooth lines and careful attention detail,” said Modus. “With slender arms and a sleek, one-piece seat, Draft sofa has a crisp, lean and refined aesthetic.”

The sofa is designed to visually complement PearsonLloyd’s Draft coffee tables, which feature a trestle-style design with a top crafted from solid oak that rests on a powder-coated steel frame that matches the legs of the sofa.
