Mark Vanderbeeken
Senior Partner, Strategic Communications, Experientia
Mark Vanderbeeken is a founding partner of Experientia, the international 30-person experience design and consultancy, based in Torino, Italy. Previously, he was Communications Manager of Interaction Design Institute Ivrea (Italy), European Communications Coordinator for the World Wide Fund for Nature (Denmark), Marketing Director of Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects (USA) and Chief Press Officer of Antwerp 93, Cultural Capital of Europe. He is the author of Experientia’s experience design blog Putting People First, has set up a professional blog on e-democracy, and writes for Core77. He is also a member of the Technical Committee of the EDF Sustainable Design Challenge. He studied visual and cognitive psychology at the University of Leuven, Belgium and obtained a master’s degree in cognitive psychology at Columbia University, New York.

Monica Dalla Riva
European Design Center Manager, Consumer and Office Business 3M
Monica Dalla Riva joined 3M in September 2010 as Europe Design Center Manager C&OB, responsible for the design strategies and execution at the European level for developing solutions, advanced design and trends researches. She has formerly worked as design manager at Samsung Design Milan and as a senior designer at Whirlpool Europe Design Centre where many of her projects received awards from ADI, Red Dot, ADA, and IDSA. She was Assistant Professor of Industrial and Strategic Design from 2002-2005 at the Politecnico di Milano University, and Lecturer on Strategic Design & Design Management at the Politecnico di Milano University and Bocconi Economic University (SDA).
Eva Teruzzi
Director of Business R&D for Fiera Milano
Eva Teruzzi is currently a Director of Business R&D, managing the design and implementation of events by establishing external co-operating networks. Her professional experience has spanned human resources, organization, and quality and business developed with microelectronics and pharma multinationals. She has operated her own consulting business for about 10 years, focusing on knowledge and community management, strategic communication, training, and fostering innovation. Her key competence can be defined as starting up new functions, projects, and businesses by creating and growing co-operation networks. She holds a MA in languages and literature and is a certified coach with ICF, the International Coach Federation.
Lowie Vermeersch
Founder and Creative Director of granstudio
Lowie Vermeersch graduated in 1998 as Master of Science in Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology with first class honors. He joined Turin-based Pininfarina as designer and became Chief Designer in 2005 and Design Director in 2007. He was responsible for the design of projects such as the Ferrari 458 Italia, Pininfarina Nido and Alfa Romeo Duettottanta. Recently Vermeersch resigned from Pininfarina to set up the new creative consultancy granstudio which acts within the field of mobility design and architecture. He is also Board Member of the Interieur Foundation.
