Core77 and Design Within Reach at Internet Week NY
Posted in: UncategorizedIf you’re in New York this week, don’t forget to stop by and visit us at the IAC Design Lounge at Internet Week HQ! A celebration of the thriving internet industry and community in New York, IWNY is a week-long, city-wide festival of events with HQ programming at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Together with our partner Design Within Reach we’ll be providing a functional, beautiful and intelligent design venue in the center of all the action.
Stop by, grab a seat, pickup a Core77 sketchbook and follow Craighton Berman (aka fueledbycoffee) as he takes you through “Sketchnotes 101,” a visual thinking tool to explore and express complex ideas you might come across from the prime location of our lounge (or at any of the hundreds of IWNY city-wide events). Check back as we sketchnote keynote speakers like Nicholas D. Kristof (The New York Times) and Robert A. Bowman (MLB Advanced Media) and share some of the exciting new ideas that come out of the festival. We can’t wait to check out Google’s Digital Archaeology project: 28 original machines, browsers and operating systems from various ages of the Internet have been unearthed to display websites once thought lost to history.
Submit your Internet Week NY sketchnotes to us at sketchnotes[at]core77.com and we’ll post our favorites throughout the week!
