Corbis Silver Iris Photography Competition
Posted in: UncategorizedIn tandem with its sponsorship of this year’s Creative Review Photography Annual, each month for the next four months Corbis is offering photographers the opportunity to win an iPad 2 and have a shot at becoming a Corbis contributor. Competition winners will also get the chance to have their work shown in our November issue, alongside this year’s Photography Annual winners.
Each month for the duration of the competition Corbis will be setting our readers a photographic brief to respond to, with the entered work being judged by three of their photography tzars and CR’s very own art director, Mr Paul Pensom. (Find out more about the judges here.)
To kick off the competition, the first month’s theme is ‘Urbanization’. The judging panel will be looking for ‘imagery inspired by the common consciousness of urban dwellers…’ and ‘the personality of the City itself, the parts that define urban’. More information can be found on the This month’s brief page of our Corbis Silver Iris microsite.
Entry into the competition is free, and the winners from each month will be unveiled on this very blog. For further information and the entry page itself, you should head here.
Keen photographers may also be interested in entering the Creative Review Photography Annual. More information on how to do that can be found here.
