The private sale site has teamed with Dwell and Boston-based Turkel Design to offer Gilt members the opportunity to purchase the architectural home plan and services for the Dwell Home Finisterre 1115 (pictured). Designed for Dwell by John Turkel, the two-level home plan features 1,115 square feet of living space, an outdoor sleeping deck on the roof, a nook off the living room designed to cantilever over the site, and sustainable materials throughout. The buyer supplies the site and $12,500. “We are thrilled to bring this exclusive deal on a fabulous Dwell home to the design-savvy Gilt membership,” said Dwell Media President Michela O’Connor Abrams in a statement announcing the deal, which will be available through Christmas Eve or when all 20 available packages are purchased (act fast, Santa!). “Selling this special home design with Gilt continues to enforce Dwell’s mission as a champion of good design anywhere, anytime, and in any form.” Buyers can work with Turkel Design to customize some aspects of their Dwell dwelling, which can be manufactured or site-built by the architectural firm. Optional add-on services include garage and/or basement design, planning and permitting assistance, and site visits.
