Clara chair by Terri Pecora for Modus
Posted in: UncategorizedVDF products fair: American designer Terri Pecora has created a chair for British furniture brand Modus that can be taken apart and repaired when necessary.
The Clara chair, which is Terri Pecora’s debut design for Modus, boasts a tubular steel frame that holds four loose cushions with colour-contrast piping: the backrest, seat and armrests.
Should any of the cushions become damaged, they can be easily removed from the frame and repaired – a feature that Pecora hopes will allow the chair to have a longer life cycle.
It comes in three different sizes: a compact seat, a larger, cosy armchair and a generous two-person sofa. The frame is also available in five colourways so that it can complement the buyer’s fabric upholstery of choice.
