Check Out 50 Years’ Worth of Lamborghinis, Both Inside and Out, from the Comfort of Your Own Home

Nestled between Bologna and Modena in Italy is a little area known as “Motor Valley.” The Terra dei Motori is the home of the Lamborghini Museum, where you can see 16,000-square-feet’s-worth of the marque’s four-wheeled treasures, starting with the first production model Ferruccio Lamborghini built after getting into an argument with Enzo Ferrari. (The story goes that Ferruccio, a wealthy manufacturer of tractors and an owner of luxury automobiles, complained to Enzo Ferrari about the engineering of the clutch on his 250GT; Ferrari derided him as a mere manufacturer of tractors and threw him out on his ear. Ferruccio resolved to build a better sportscar, and a rivalry was born.)

Getting into the museum isn’t a bank-breaker at just €13 a pop, but not all of us can pony up the scratch to fly out to Italy. So, some good news for you car design nuts on a budget: Lamborghini has made the museum’s interior viewable and navigable via Google’s Street View! Yep, that’s not a static image right there—click on it and see. It’s way better than a static photo gallery, as you can navigate to whatever angle of whatever car you’re looking at. Even cooler, when you “stand” next to the driver’s side of certain vehicles, you’ll notice the gullwing door is suddenly in the open position. Click inside the car and it puts you right in the driver’s seat, so you can even check out the interior design.
