poco, a Japanese stely little gem here in KL. No I haven't been yet, but Fenny from F for Fabulous has and she made some beautiful pictures for us and gives a small review…. right here at Bloesem's Travel page.
I told you already this morning… a whole lot of Asia this today! Sandy is a blogger living in Singapore ans she often visits Bangkok, today she shares two of her favorite caffees with us: *Parden Cafe and *Library over at the Bloesem Travel pages right here.
… and of course I have to show you one of Sandy's lovely handmade creations which she sells in her etsy shop.
Already in July I was planning on writing about a new Dutch online free magazine… 'Naturelle' founded by Annemique de Kroon. But moving house and being too much behind with work caused me to wait until now and to be honest it probably is a good thing, because seeing issue number 2 this morning made me so happy and even more convinced that when we are ready to move away from Asia I want to live here… and here is in the Northern part of Spain, the Costa Brava or Catalunya. Beautifully captured by Annemique in her free online magazine Naturelle.
Funny thing is my parents are in LLagostera at the moment and when I spoke to my father on the phone yesterday he told me how he still believes that this part of Spain is still as beautiful as when we came there the first time when I was only 3 years old.
I can only say Annemique has done an excellent job in writing exactly the right words about the most beautiful beach strip in the world that I have ever seen. It is rough, authentic, raw, but also friendly, warm, artistic and very special! Not surprising that the best restaurant in the world El Bulli and amazing artist Salvador Dali are from this region.
Naturelle magazine does not only write about travelling, stories about living and finding balance in your life are important topics for Annemique. I really love this online magazine and can only hope many more issues will follow.
The story starts about Catalunya starts on page 75 … enjoy Naturell it's for free and very beautiful.

Pärlans Konfektyr in Stockholm
Posted in: ..travel tipsThe above image caught my eye when visiting Elle interior sweden's blog. This is what shops in the fifties must have looked like and it is fun seeing this Mad-Men style coming back to us. The image is of a Confectionery in Stockholm named Pärlans.
At Pärlans it's all about toffees in the classic way, more than seven kinds, lemon, vanilla, cream…The store was founded by Lisa J. Ericson and everyone who works here got to know each other through interest in the thirties and forties – School's golden age – and the dancing lindy hop.
Graphic designer Clara von Zweigbergk made the beautiful handwritten logo. And when visiting her website I couldn't help noticing the Themis Trio mobile which I had seen before… yes from Artecnica… you like them too?

When asked if I would be interested in a nice write-up about her visit to Hong Kong recently I was of course delighted, I have been to Hong Kong a couple of times, but always on business never had time to actually visit the place, I do hear many wonderful stories about this cosmopolitan city above us … so Marie's report will come in very handy. Would you like to read it too than click here…
Today I will be meeting Marie in person for the first time, she lives here in Singapore and hopefully she will bring one of her super nice handmade Morrocon style mesh bags with her so I can see and feel it 🙂 … love them! Etincelle Creative Studio
