The good thing about moving house is being reminded of all your family pictures hidden in storage boxes that you never came around placing in a photo-albums… the problem with me is that when I finally have found time and spirit to start sorting them all out I don't have a photo album that I like. I will then go to a 'normal' shop, but do not like what I see and the my good spirit fades away and the pictures go back in the box…

Best solution would be simply to order a couple of theses beautiful handmade albums from Nauli . At least they will be there when I want to start on a rainy evening or Sunday afternoon…

Not often do I show fashion on Bloesem, but sharing the amazing creations by La Casita de Wendy with you only seems logic. These are not you regular type of clothes … I believe these are art-pieces that are very wearable which makes them my favorites!

Inés  and Iván two designers from Madrid are behind La Casita de Wendy. Their fall-winter collection “Wuthering Heights” inspired by the Brontë Sisters is simply stunning. I LOVE the black 'Jane Eyre' coat!! And wouldn't mind finding one of these dresses or tops in my cabinet.

Former Paul Smith designer Emily Dyson established lifestyle store Couverture in 1999 in Chelsea, London. 2008 seemed the right year to move the shop to the heart of Notting Hill… not only was this a move she combined forces with her fashion designer husband Ian Paley and opened the concept store “Couverture & The Garbstore“. 

Well of course not all of us are able to visit this wonderful shop so Emily decided to also open up an online shop. The same beautiful articles that you would find in Notting Hill are here for you. Just make your pick and the package will arrive soon! Some of my favorites are shown in the pictures… that squirrel is looking at me… :):)

Is your house ready for winter or do you not need an excuse to treat yourself on one of these beautiful sheep skins? I don't, that's for sure… I can wait until I am old and grey becasue winter will never arrive here in Malaysia and I still LOVE these small natural rugs im my home. They are so soft and comfortabel and although you can argue it is from an animal… I eat meat too and I wear leather as long as I can remember on my feat and I love leather handbags… so no reason for me to stay away from these… well at least I need to know the skins are stamped as ‘Eco-Friendly’.          >>Read More>>

black sheep (white light) from Canada was founded by Bryce, who discovered these beautiful Icelandic sheepskins while attempting to source a sheepskin for an interior design project, the IKEA pelts just didn’t do it for him… 🙂

Last week I was asked by an Asian life-style magazine for a photoshoot in my home because of the Scandinavian, Nordic type of furniture and accesoiries we have… of course I said yes and now I'm preparing our home for the up-coming shoot… visiting Huset is certainly part of my preparations… their shop is like a MUST when it comes to finding Scandinavian and especially Swedish inspiration…. some of my favorites items in their shop right now are: the Lisa Bengtsson Tillsammans posters; this tray by ; the Norwegian forest lamp shade by Cathrine Kullberg; the retro looking Scandi telephone; this Buck Stacking Game and these hidden animal teacups…  more>>>
