Shop Crush

B1

I have such a crush on Dunlin, a fantastic shop that calls Sydney, Australia home. Dunlin has been curated by New York and Sydney based architectural interior designers Nicholas Barber and Alexandra Bond. The products are sourced from all over, and provide new essential classics for the contemporary home that were previously unavailable to the Australian market. It really is a lovely collection of goodies. My favorites are the six tasting spoons, the glass and steal drink dispenser, and the chatham bone china berry baskets.

I have had a crush on the shop Objects of Use for quite a while now – I just love the concept. Everything about this shop is something I would seriously devour – from the cooking utensils to the cleaning brushes. I understand that loving a shop that is focused on gorgeously designed tools for use, or as some would see it…work – doesn't exactly say "exciting individual" but I can't hear you anyways, because I am too busy drooling over these garden shears. – Tiffany King

Inspired :: Enamelware

B1

I have been obsessed with enamelware for many years now, and have quite the collection. My pieces are all vintage though, and finding them is getting harder – not to mention the price has increased substantially from when I first started collecting. That is why Falcon Enamelware makes this girl's heart flutter!

B2

My enamelware is the traditional ice white and blue rim, but Falcon has started to have some fun with this classic look by adding colors. I can't wait to see what they do next! – Tiffany King

All I want for Christmas…by Tiffany

As you know – I moved into my first home this year, and with Christmas coming I have been thinking about all the little things I would love to have in it. My thoughts are of the smaller items right now, but hopefully when money stops flowing out of our house like a mad river – my husband and I can focus on the bigger things. One can dream right?

My wish list for Christmas this year is as follows ::

T1

Find these lovelies here and here. Yes, natural wood oil can be considered lovely especially for what it does to wood and look at that handsome label. I have been drooling over Julia Rothman's Farm Anatomy for months!

T2

I have a blanket obsession and once winter sets in I start itching for a new one. There are eleven blankets on this page and I want eight of them…that is how sick I am. One thing you always need is a good pair of scissors, and I would recommend beautiful handcrafted ones for all your household needs. You can find these lovelies here and here

T3
One thing I have always wanted is a well designed sewing kit, and then hopefully the ability to sew will follow. Right? This might seem really ridiculous, but I have given a lot of thought to which kind of doormat I would like to have on our wrap-around porch, and so far the knotted jute is my favorite. You can find these lovelies here and here

T4

And last but certainly not least, you can find these lovelies here and here. I could write a rather sorrowful poem dedicated to the difficulty of finding the perfect pillows. I'm pretty sure I would get booed at the local coffee shop, but I digress. I have always loved the simplistic design of a milk bottle, and to this day can't resist a single one.

What are the items on your wish list for Christmas?

p.s. – I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a wonderful holiday! Thank you so much for your warm welcome to me joining the Bloesem team – I have absolutely loved every minute of it. I can't wait to see what the New Year brings for Bloesem and Bloesem Kids, see you then! xx

And we do dogs too!

Mollymutt2

I can't decide if this is kind of an odd post for Bloesem, but I am an animal lover. I have plans to spend my retirement opening up a sanctuary for abused bulldog's, my husband isn't aware of these plans so let's just keep it between us.

Bulldogs

And though I love all animals, I am one bulldog obsessed lady and if you own a bulldog – you know it's like having a hippo sleep in your house. I am also a "neat freak" which is basically the opposite term for bulldog, so I have spent many years cringing at the ugly messy dog bed sitting in the corner of the rooms I have worked so hard to make nice.                                                       Read More >>>

I was going through a lot of dog bed's until I found Molly Mutt and my dog bed war made peace with her lovely and eco-friendly approach to dog beds…and for cat owner's, cat beds

some ‘house essentials’ from Tiffany…

B01

Irene asked me to do a post about some of the things I liked this week, and I have to admit I felt really nervous about it. I don't want to disappoint. As you know I just bought my first house, so I have so many things I like running through my head, that it keeps me up at night. Let's see how I do…

Something for the outdoors…a practical guide to the essentials of beekeeping.

Bell

Something romantic for my bedroom…a ceramic victorian bell.

Cords

Something necessary turned lovely…a beautiful cloth extension cord.

Thanks Irene, this was fun!
