Situé au Turkmenistan, ce champ de gaz naturel appelé depuis « Door to Hell » par les locaux n’a jamais cessé d’émettre des flammes depuis que des scientifiques soviétiques l’ont allumé en 1971. L’occasion pour des milliers de personnes de découvrir de plus près ce phénomène naturel impressionnant.
We’ve all thought about it: you use a public restroom, wash your hands and then have to touch an unsanitary doorknob to leave the restroom?! Gross. It’s no secret that not everyone who touches that doorknob is washing their hands. Ewwww. What’s the point in washing your hands anyway?! The Foot Latch was designed with this problem in mind. After you’re finished doing your business, just use your foot to unlatch the door and go on your way with fresh and clean hands!

Ok so you have too many drinks, its dark and the door won’t open. Obviously you need to insert the key, but the point is, sober or drunk, many of us do end up struggling with the key and keyhole. Concave Lock follows an annulus pattern with a fluorescent ring that glows in the dark. Because of the concave surface of the lock, the design allows you to slide the key into the keyhole on the first try! Superb!
Conclave Lock is a 2012 IDEA Awards entry.
