Casio's newest G-Shock, GPW-2000 uses Bluetooth to keep you on time
Posted in: UncategorizedToday Casio has announced the newst G-Shock, the GPW-2000. The watch features Multiband 6 radio reception, GPS radio wave reception, and the ability to connect via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection is accompanied by a dedicated app that has a flight log function, travel history, automatic time correction, home/world time adjustment, and a world time setting.The GPW-2000 is a GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor with Bluetooth and keeps accurate time anywhere in the world by automatically updating internal data on time zones and daylight savings time (DST). The new GPW-2000 features the new Connected Engine 3-way module from Casio, which always keeps accurate time anywhere in the world. The module employs the world’s first 3-way time sync system*, which receives both radio wave and GPS satellite time calibration signals while also connecting to time servers by pairing with a smartphone.
