Join Har Mar Superstar for this year’s Blu Dot Swap Meet — free furniture in exchange for your creative talent (taxidermy and oddities accepted!).
Starting on Monday 2/28, Blu Dot is creating an online community auction geared at creative types who love modern design, but may not be able to afford modern furniture. The Blu Dot Swap Meet will enable people to barter their creativity in exchange for anything that Blu Dot sells. The Blu Dot Swap Meet will encourage interesting, funny, artistic, and/or quirky bids, such as:
popsicle stick forts
skywriting
song-singing
offerings of odd collections
performance art
stupid human tricks
(Fun Fact: Blu Dot built its business on bartering. Back in the day, the Blu Dot logo was designed in exchange for a custom tree house.)
As part of their announcement, Blu Dot has asked Har Mar Superstar to demonstrate some of the skills that might qualify for a Swap. The Swap Meet goes live on Blu Dot’s website February 28 and runs through March 11.
