BETC’s bruising anti-domestic violence campaign
Posted in: UncategorizedTo tie in with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25, BETC has created a campaign for French women’s rights organisation Ni Putes Ni Soumises to raise awareness about domestic violence
The print ads feature close-ups of bruises captioned as if art works. Closer reading reveals that the captions refer to, in one case, the role played by alcohol in domestic abuse (shown top) or, in the case of the other two ads in the campaign, the fact that domestic abuse can involve rape or even death.
NPNS (which stands for Neither Whores Nor Submissives) was founded in France in 2002. BETC Paris has ben a long-term supporter and produced the campaign pro bono.
