A: Art means to me… freedom and reflection, also by learning about art, i learn to see more.
R: Reading books / blogs / magazines … I read books to be inspired and to relax. I browse through blogs and magazines to be up to date. at the moment: book:Nighttrain to Lisbon by Pascal Mercier. T: Trends I see in art or graphic design are… **green meets urban and **cozyness.
A: Artists I admire are… Raoul Dufy,Kees van Dongen, Dries van Noten, Henri Matisse, Rothko, Jan Sluijters, Kenzo, Anish Kapoor, Sonia Delaunay, Jean-Philippe Delhomme, Maira Kahlman.
N: Never will I … be without ideas
D: Dreams for my own work are about… being a full time illustrator and pattern designer, working internationally.
P: Projects I'm currently working on are… Editorial illustrations, exhibition work for Fashion Clash Maastricht and working on my own textile collection.
R: Relaxing I do at / when / if… By reading a good book, being with my family, cooking and eating and by travelling.
I: Interesting art-places online are… tate ; amelia's magazine ; dear ada ; sophie munns
N: New in my home is… my blackboardwall, in stead of my ever disappearing little lists, a 2hand record player and a bed cover from Beddinghouse
T: Tomorrow I like to go to… London, to work and live there, in a little studio with a little rooftop garden…
