Nous avons présenté récemment graphiste italien Federico Picci. Il a été choisi pour réaliser une création originale dans le cadre du partenariat entre Fubiz et Nissan pour le lancement de la nouvelle version de la Micra. En tant qu’amoureux de musique, il a choisi de représenter de manière très colorée et énergique, l’innovation du sound system Bose. Dans un joli décor, il a placé la voiture au centre, entouré d’instruments et d’amplis. Il a souhaité souligner le caractère fun de la citadine à travers des formes abstraites sortant de l’habitacle.
Mealtimes can be messy affairs, and not just with food. Wakufuru is a new furniture collection intended to take the edge off the loud sounds that often come with dining spaces. Designed for Glimarka by Johan Kapui, the set of tables, benches and additional seating all incorporate sound muffling materials within the simple solid ash wood frames.
The tabletops are veneered MDF. Below is a hidden acoustic filling pad made from felt, perforated board, foam, and a layer of air to maximize the threat to clatter.
The furniture itself is elegant, sturdy, and modern. The smooth legs are modular, designed with a single cut and attachment system to streamline production and assembly across the differently sized pieces.
Incorporating sonic relief into the wooden frames, the Wakufuru system is aimed at homes and public spaces with calm aesthetics and less soothing acoustics.
Hopefully someday someone will make a budget version for high schools across the planet.

What if a speaker didn’t have to be big to produce big sound? What if it could just use something external to magnify sound waves? That’s the basis on which the Cork Speaker works! Much like cupping your hands around your phone’s speaker to make it sound louder, the Cork screws onto the head of a glass bottle and uses the hollow space of the glass as a resonating chamber.
For a speaker this tiny, the Cork churns out some big sound! Shaped like a piece of cork, the speaker fits comfortably onto any glass bottle (plastic bottles don’t produce good sound because of their small wall thickness) and secures itself with silicone cradles. Stream audio to the Cork via Bluetooth and listen to your tunes pump out with the kind of richness and clarity that most speakers this size can only dream of!
The unique thing about Cork is that each bottle gives the sound a different flavor. Since different bottles are made of different glass compositions and come in a variety of shapes & sizes, you can choose what kind of sound you like by simply trying out different bottles!
