Opening: Architecture of an Asylum

An exhibition that explores the architecture and landscape architecture of St. Elizabeths, The Government Hospital for the Insane, as the campus was originally named. The multi-disciplinary exhibition will tell the story of St. Elizabeths’ change over time, reflecting evolving theories of how to care for the mentally ill, as well as the later reconfiguration of the campus as a federal workplace and mixed-use urban development.

The Micra’s Metamorphosis in Paint Splatters by Alessio Franceschetto

Dans le cadre du partenariat mis en place entre Nissan et Fubiz à l’occasion du lancement de la dernière Nissan Micra, l’artiste Alessio Franceschetto s’est prêté au jeu et a, lui aussi, redéfini la Micra à sa manière. Cet artiste a été révélé pour ses montages pop et minimalistes dans lesquels, il a pour habitude d’associer astucieusement deux objets du quotidien pour un résultat des plus farfelus.
La Micra n’a donc pas échappé à la patte créative de ce pro du digital, et va se métamorphoser progressivement tout au long de la série d’illustration. La voiture se désagrège littéralement en grosses éclaboussures de peinture, ces dernières bien évidemment aux couleurs de la Micra. Un résultat frais et acidulé qui correspond parfaitement aux attributs du véhicule.
