L’artiste nigérian Arinze Stanley, réalise des portraits ultra-réalistes au crayon monochrome. Les trois mots d’ordre de l’artiste sont « pratique, patience et persévérance », ce qui est compréhensible car chacune de ses oeuvres demandent environ 100 heures de travail. Exposés à plusieurs reprises dans des galeries notamment à la galerie Omenka en Ikoyi Crescent, à Lagos, Arinze Stanley est surnommé « le Picasso Nigérian ».
L’artiste allemand Moritz Adam a réalisé plusieurs série d’illustrations pour le lancement de la Micra cinquième génération. Dans le cadre d’un partenariat entre Fubiz et Nissan, l’illustrateur dévoile les différentes étapes de son travail jusqu’à l’aboutissement de la citadine. Dévoilant ainsi des proportions dynamiques avec un toit flottant et une ligne partant du capot vers l’arrière. À travers ses croquis et ses créations, l’intérieur de la voiture est visible elle aussi, avec le tableau de bord facilitant l’utilisation et favorisant votre confort.

This is a recent demo by Disney Research of a virtual reality system they’ve developed that allows users to accurately interact with moving physical objects while in a virtual reality environment. In this case, catching and throwing a ball. “We examine three visualizations: rendering a matching virtual ball, the predicted trajectory of the ball, and a target catching point lying on the predicted trajectory. In our demonstration system, we track the projectile motion of a ball as it is being tossed between users. Using Unscented Kalman Filtering, we generate predictive estimates of the ball’s motion as it approaches the catcher. The predictive assistance visualizations effectively increases user’s senses but can also alter the user’s strategy in catching.”..(Read…)
