Serge Najjar sublime Beyrouth en offrant une vision de la ville à travers ses bâtiments en ruine, en construction, délabrés et solitaires. Son esthétique est lumineuse, faite de contrastes et formes parfaitement définies, construite sur des géométries, des ombres et des couleurs vives, méditerranéennes. À travers ses photographies, ils transporte le spectateur dans un monde suspendu, irréel, où les architectures deviennent les trames et les imprimés d’un tissu, comme si elles étaient des immenses pièces décoratives.

Le groupe Morphosis vient de concevoir de nouvelles suites à 7132 Hôtel à Vals, en Suisse. Thom Mayne, le directeur de la conception et son équipe ont réexaminé la définition du luxe en réduisant et affinant le maximum d’éléments, afin de ce concentrer sur la couleur, les formes et l’éclairage. Morphosis a réalisé deux types de suites différentes, les chambres en bois et celles en pierre, ainsi que le hall de l’hôtel et l’entrée de la station de ski alpin.

In the best way possible, of course! They’re a part of Papaya – an interactive vacuum that transforms an ordinary household chore into a game the whole family can enjoy.

Each of the many spheres is actually a mini-vacuum, and can be controlled remotely by multiple members of the family. Roll them all around the house to achieve different objectives like seeing who can clear the most area, or even play a game of hide and seek. All while cleaning your floors of dust and debris!

When you’re finished, dock them at a compact and convenient station where they will clean, charge and be ready for round 2.
