Nice work for Richard House, Nokia, McDonald’s and more

Lots of lovely work to share with you this week. First up is a great fundraising website for children’s hospice Richard House in London. Designed by The Partners, the site allows visitors to create a unique ‘exquisite corpse’ print using drawings by 120 of the UK’s top illustrators…

There are 64,000 possible combinations of heads, bodies and legs to choose from on the site, and users can scroll through them online until they are happy with a selection. For only £60, they can then buy a print of their creation, with all proceeds raised on the site going to Richard House. Act fast though – only one of each combination will be produced as a print, so get in quick to get the one you want.

An example print featuring illustrations by Mr Bingo (head), Ben Cain (body) and Nick White (legs) is shown above. Visit goinggoinggone-red.org to design your own.

Wieden + Kennedy London has enlisted Chromeo to give an example of the fun that can be had with the Own Voice feature on Nokia’s SatNav service, which lets you record friends and family’s voices to be a guide on the machine. As the mockumentary film above demonstrates, Chromeo’s Drivetime voicepack is decidedly funky. It can be downloaded for use in your own car here.

Also from Wieden + Kennedy, but this time from the Delhi office, is a rather lovely film for Royal Enfield motorcycles. Creative director: V Sunil. Director: Bharat Sikka.

DDB Paris, in collaboration with B-Reel, has created a website to advertise Lipton tea’s ‘exclusive collection’. The website, here, features various illustrated ‘journeys’ (stills shown above) that can be gently interacted with. Perfect for a bit of meditation over a cuppa. Creative directors: Pierrette Diaz, Matthieu Elkaim; Creatives: Nicolas Berthier, François Guyomard; Interaction director: Branislav Peric

BETC Euro RSCG in Paris has created this spot for the new Peugeot 508. It centres around an idea that we’ve seen before in car ads – the vehicle providing sanctuary and calm in a hectic world – but is very nicely done. Creatives: Thomas Renaudin, Paul Delmas; director: Johan Renck; production company: Soixante Quinze.

Manic children star in this new ad for McDonald’s, from director Neil Gorringe. Agency: Leo Burnett; creatives: Chris Birch, Jim Bolton, Caroline Rawlings; production company: Moxie Pictures.

Winkreative has created a series of short but sweet animated TV ads (one shown above) for Canada’s Porter Airlines, starring the company’s brand mascot, a raccoon called Mr Porter. Director: LOBO; production company: RSA Animation/The Ebeling Group.

We end this week’s round up on a loving note, with a new dating website launched by ad creative Matt Janes. As its name suggests, doingsomething.co.uk, aims to help potential new friends find each other and also discover fun things to do together in London. Featuring charming illustration from designer/illustrator Johnny Lighthands, the site has some cute touches, including ‘the wheel of date’ (shown above) that helps indecisive would-be couples choose an activity for a date, as well as a switch to flick you to an innocuous webpage if your boss passes by your desk while you’re browsing. Janes has also kindly offered CR readers three months’ free access to the site: simply enter the sign-up code ‘creativereview’ and begin searching for love…
