Eames Powers of Ten Video Challenge: Community Winner!!

Core77, Eames Office and presenting sponsor, Herman Miller are proud to announce the Community winner of the Core77 Powers of Ten Video Design Challenge where participants were asked to create a 2-minute video response to the Charles and Ray Eames seminal film, Powers of Ten.
Congratulations to Community Winner DaveDoug who created “Dreams of Eames” entry. He took a “hand-made approach to this black & white paper-cut Eames dream.” He explains that “Charles & Ray Eames are certainly among my greatest inspirations and these 539 frames represent what I love about them.”
The Community Winner will receive $1,000 in cash and an Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair.
“We had a few key goals as sponsors of this challenge,” says Marg Mojzak, Director, Retail at Herman Miller. “We wanted to express Herman Miller’s commitment to and appreciation of the Eames heritage. In addition, we hoped to encourage others to express their own unique view of scale since Herman Miller believes strongly in the creative process and the power of design. We were thrilled to see such a robust and positive response from the design community and were delighted to be part of this experience.”
