It all started when we fell in love with the amazing serrated peeler from Messermeister (black) we found during a visit to the Sur La Table shop in San Francisco. The peeler also was the subject matter for our very first post on Smart Stuff. We even liked it so much we bought a few and used them as prizes in our very first contest. A little later we found the Zyliss’ version of the same idea (red) and we did a comparison test. Who won? Check out this page. Now, today when we were browsing Williams-Sonoma for new products, we found the Rösle version (stainless). we have not had the opportunity to try the Rösle peeler, but if it’s anywhere near the other two, it must be great.
