Once upon a time, all a traveling DJ needed at his destination was a shelf to drop his milk crates on and a flat surface for the turntables; nowadays s/he’s most likely toting a laptop, and needs to have that elevated above the action.

To fill this latter need, a company called Stanton makes a lightweight, aluminum laptop stand, designed to rest its feet under a turntable. Attached straps keep wires out of the way, and the whole thing folds flat for travel. Once folded up, it fits into any 12″ record bag. Check it out here.
