Melissa Block leaves All Things Considered. She won’t say goodbye to NPR, instead serving as a special correspondent at the company. “Great reporting combined with compelling storytelling is vital to NPR’s future,” Mike Oreskes, NPR’s editorial director and senior vp of news, said in a statement. “No one exemplifies that blend better than Melissa.
