An amazing maze of books
Posted in: UncategorizedArtists Marcos Saboya and Gualter Pupo have created aMazeme, a giant labyrinth of books currently on show at the Southbank Centre Clore Ballroom, as part of the London 2012 Festival…
The maze (which was produced by Hungry Man), is 500 square metres in size and features over 250,000 books. It is inspired by the work of Argentinian poet and author Jorge Borges, and its design is based on his fingerprint.
The maze will be on show at the Southbank until August 26. Book fans will be pleased to hear that no books have been harmed in the process of making the maze, and that all 250,000 titles will be donated to Oxfam when the project ends. For more info, visit festival.london2012.com.
